Funimation y Crunchyroll anunciaron el 1 de marzo que la biblioteca de anime de Funimation y Wakanim y los contenidos de emisión simultánea se han trasladado a Crunchyroll. Funimation Global Group, de Sony, completó la adquisición de Crunchyroll a AT&T el 9 de agosto del año pasado. El precio de compra fue de 1.175 millones de dólares, y los ingresos se pagaron en efectivo al cierre.
